Just an observation, it seems that anything and everything having to do with gay parents is geared toward parents who have custody. I guess that just like hetero society, there is no place for non-custodial parents who do carry on a relationship with their children. Chancellor C. Roberts II Niagara Falls, NY I am interested in a subscription to Gay Parent magazine. We are a new gay family. I gave birth to a son last July with the help of my partner Edwina and my mom. We look forward to reading of others like our family. Karen Krupa Ohio My name is Mikel and I am the founder of a new gay adoptive support group in the UK named GAPS. We would love for you to have us listed. Many thanks. Mikel GAPS Founder www.gaps.org.uk

Just wanted to let you know the good news. Our son Harlan "Harley" Simard-Halm was born on March 20, 2002, the first day of Spring! He weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz. (lucky numbers) and measured 21 inches in length. Malina and Luc are very excited about their new brother and can't wait to get him on the swing set. I told them they'd have to wait until he's a little bigger. The only disapointment so far is that Luc wanted to name his brother, "Blue's Clues" or "Buster" and so far he has refused to call him Harley.

We will be out of commission for a bit while we get re-acclimated to a really little one. Last night was Harley's first night home and he managed to pee on us twice (quite a jet stream) and poop non-stop.
Two exhausted dads,
Will and Marcellin

Note: Will Halm and his family were our cover story family for our March-April 2002 issue.
