McLean School of Maryland (www.mcleanschool.org), an independent, co-educational, K-12 day school proudly serving the Washington, DC metropolitan area for over 50 years.

Founded in 1954, McLean today is a kindergarten through grade 12 independent school. Our mission has always been to serve a broad range of students including those with learning issues. To advance the school's original vision, we expanded our kindergarten through grade 9 school, added the upper secondary grades, and graduated our first senior class in 2003.

McLean makes education accessible, stimulating and meaningful for a broad range of learners. Our students flourish because McLean responds to students' distinct learning profiles. McLean prepares students intellectually and socially by encouraging self-advocacy and building self-confidence. Our students succeed because they learn how to learn.
