• The Post Adoption Resource Center at Judson Center provides a support group every second Thursday of each month at our Washtenaw office in Ann Arbor.  We invite families who have adopted the opportunity to share their challenges, ideas and support and in exchange be supported by others!  We provide dinner and child care.  After dinner we split into two separate discussion groups, one for parents and one for kids.  We ask that families RSVP to Jennifer Pedley at 734-794-2894 or Jennifer_Pedley@judsoncenter.org.

About Our Program: The PARC program at Judson Center recognizes the unique challenges facing families who have adopted children from the foster care system in Michigan.  It is their desire to work together with local community resources to provide assistance to families who are facing challenges after their adoptions have been finalized.  It is their hope to build networks of resources and community support for adoptive families in their communities.  The PARC program supports families through crisis intervention, short term case management, information, referrals, education and support groups.

• LGBT Families was created to become a leading resource in the LGBT community for those seeking to expand their own families through adoption, foster care, surrogacy and fertility.  There are so many questions, methods and laws that our community should be aware of. We are committed to discovering and expanding these options as a unified community, so we can make the most educated choices when deciding to parent. We intend to foster and be an advocate for the rights of LGBT families everywhere, but we don’t stop there.  We also want to create a support network for your family pre, during and post placement or birth.  The single most import decision in life will be nurturing a family and we want to provide the resources to make those decisions. • Nashville Gay Parents
www.nashvillegayparents.com

We are a group of LGBT parents with infant to school-aged children. We meet monthly throughout the Greater Nashville area for kid-centered activities.  Currently, more than 60 families are involved. Families vary from same gender male couples to same gender female couples to single parents. Many ethnicities and nationalities are represented. Families of children with exceptionalities are active.

We’ve done private and public MeetUps, from an Easter egg hunt at a home to a playday in a water park. While a monthly option is hosted, members are encouraged to use the on-line platform to create small cell groups for additional interest and geographic activities.

• Rainbow Family Network, Dallas, TX, 972-998-4631, rfndallas@yahoo.com, www.myspace.com/rainbowfamilynetwork. This network is designed to be an open forum for the children of LGBT parents living in the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex to network and offer support to one another. This group is dedicated to decreasing isolation for children of (LGBT) parents, and to bring a voice to the experiences of these families. In addition to providing resources for LGBT parents and their families, Rainbow Family Network is also for our kids to socialize. It can be a forum for parents to network and plan and schedule events, play dates, etc, that our children can enjoy. Staying true to our motto "Raising Awareness, Making a Change" http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Rainbowkidshouston/

This group is for LGBT Families. We are looking to meet other parents trying to raise kids in a not so gay family friendly world.  Our kids felt like they were the only ones with "different" parents. We want to establish a place for them and other kids like them within the LGBT community as well as a place for parents dealing with all the issues of raising kids.  Stop by on our Yahoo group, chat a bit, get to know us, and join the fun at our monthly meeting. Look forward to seeing you there! - -Rainbow Kids Moms -Sabrina and Ann

• Utah Gay Fathers Association
www.utahgayfathers.com

We celebrate fatherhood and all gay men through fellowship and support. We have monthly social meetings and participate in our pride celebration along with many social events in Utah and with gay fathers groups in other states. If you’re a gay father through a heterosexual marriage, adoption, surrogacy, stepfather, or a single man wanting to be a father, we welcome you (Padres Latinos también). We focus on fathers, but all are welcome among us. E-mail utahgayfathers@gmail.com if you’d like to be added to our e-mail distributions, facebook group and receive the monthly newsletter.
